Description

The 6 x 260MM TBS Flange Wafer Head Screws are ready to be dispatched by next day delivery

The 6 x 260MM TBS Flange Wafer Head Screws are high performance structural screws for load bearing structures.

It has a high torsional strength due to the grade of steel and the inclusion of a washer on the head of the screw. Securall are the leading importers of Rothoblass screws in Ireland with full technical back up service.

TBS, the structural wood screw with integrated washer for exceptional tensile strength.

The TBS flange head screw is ideal for fastening joists to sill beams to achieve high wind uplift resistance.

The flange head guarantees excellent tensile strength which means the use of additional lateral fastening systems can be avoided. The asymmetric “umbrella” of TBS wood screws guarantees better wood pull-through.

Thanks to its geometry, TBS is the ideal in the presence of wind or variations in timber dimensions. It features superior strength, thanks to the steel’s excellent failure and yield strength (fy,k = 1000 N/mm2).

Very high torsional strength (ftor,k) guarantees safer screwing. The bending angle is 20° greater than standard, certified according to ETA 11/0030.

Made of carbon steel with bright zinc plated, it is perfect for use with solid timber, glulam, wood-based panels, high-density woods, CLT and LVL.

Service classes 1 and 2. Seismic performance tested according to EN 14592. Cyclical SEISMIC-REV tests according to EN 12512. Values also tested, certified and calculated for CLT and high density woods such as Microllam® LVL.

These 6 x 260 mm TBS Flange Wafer Head Screws are very versatile, here are some of the advantages of choosing Rotjoblaas wafer head structural screws.

Integrated washer: The flange head serves as washer and ensures high head strength and pull-through. Ideal in the presence of wind or variations in timber dimensions.

3 Thorns Tips: Thanks to the 3 THORNS tip, minimum installation distances are reduced. More screws can be used in less space and larger screws in smaller elements. Costs and time for project implementation are reduced.

New Generations Woods: Tested and certified for use on a wide variety of engineered timbers such as CLT, GL, LVL, OSB and Beech LVL. Extremely versatile, the TBS screw guarantees the use of new-generation woods for the creation of increasingly innovative and sustainable structures.

Fast: With the 3 THORNS tip, screw grip becomes more reliable and faster, while maintaining the usual mechanical performance. More speed, less effort.

Secondary Beams: Ideal for fastening joists to sill beams to achieve high wind uplift resistance. The flange head guarantees excellent tensile strength which means the use of additional lateral fastening systems can be avoided.

I-Joist: Values also tested, certified, and calculated for CLT and high-density woods such as Mi-crollam® LVL.

Rothoblass TBS Flange Wafer Head Screws use Microllam® LVL for its structural elements. The TBS screws, with their 3 THORNS tip, allow for precise and efficient installation with reduced minimum distances between screws.

This not only enhances the structural integrity of the innovative wood materials but also accelerates construction timelines.

Moreover, the screws’ compatibility with various engineered timbers ensures adaptability in crafting sustainable and innovative structures.

Whether securing secondary beams or supporting I-joists in the latest timber constructions, these screws stand as a testament to advanced engineering in the construction industry.
